MISSION STATEMENT

"TO CULTIVATE JOY BY PROVIDING BEAUTY SERVICES TO THOSE IN NEED"

Once a week I go out to our local extended care facility to do the residents hair. I wish I could donate more time, energy and hair services to these clients. Getting their hair done is so important to them. I am in a spot where I either have to quit or take up donations so I decided to start a non-profit. It is called Hair Joy Fund. If everything goes well, expanding services to women's shelters and low income will happen. People experiencing hardship can get into a cycle of negativity. Having your hair done often disrupts the negative thoughts and feelings that circle the drain of hopelessness. I hope this can fill the joy void in struggling people's lives.
